LinkedIn is a place where you can connect to many working professionals worldwide. There are around 50 million companies listed on LinkedIn with over 15 million job openings. It is a one-place destination to find your dream job.
This job hunt process can be very sluggish and tiring, one possible reason is that your LinkedIn profile does not stand out. There are specific recommendation algorithms that LinkedIn use. To get the recruiter's attention, make sure to follow the below guidelines.
A professional profile photo (well-groomed, coloured t-shirt/Formals): A profile photo is the 1st impression, make sure you don't lose any points there.
About section: This is the section where you have to score the best. Write 3-4 lines about yourself and what are your interest and then start listing every keyword you know or ever came across in your skillset. It has a limit of 2k+ words, make sure you complete them all.
3. Similarly you have to complete the project summary sections, More the keywords more will be the response from the recruiters. Below is an example from one of my projects.
4. Now comes the final part i.e., the self-branding. It is really important as it will increase your reach and place you higher in the search bar. Every week write something related to your specialization. It can be anything let's say Bais-Variance Trade-off. Write and post at least 1 post a week.
